How we work

Who builds your project?

Arkland Landscape Construction is led by owner Joel T. Lopez and built by our own landscape construction team of experienced crews. The company started as a two-person operation and grew into a full team serving the San Francisco Bay Area. The people who plan your project are the same company that builds it.

Leadership
Sets the standard for every job, in the design and in the build. No detail is too small to get right.
Project leads
Plan the work, line up materials and keep you updated, so you always know what's happening and what comes next.
Field crews
Experienced crews who do the building: hardscape, grading and drainage, irrigation, lighting and planting.

Joel T. Lopez

Owner & Founder

Joel started out helping his father in landscaping, then built the company from a two-person operation into a full team with three divisions. Hardscape and patio design is his passion.
